Thoughts That I Ponder......By Pastor Fonda

Thoughts on inner healing...

Inner healing can only come from Jesus, yet some people choose to live with misery...Why?

There are many reasons why, but it all starts with taking steps for change. I see people all the time that go to church, have jobs and families, but yet they are so unhappy inside.

I see people with pain in their body, but yet they cannot get healed because of the pain of their emotions.

Many years ago during a church service that I attended there was a lady minister that was giving words of knowledge from the pulpit. As she did, she would ask people to come to the altar if they felt like what she was saying was confirmation about them. One by one they went until she said: "Someone is here and you feel like you could never be used of God. You feel so unworthy, but your hunger is so great. You say, 'God I see so many that are more worthy than I, How can I ever be used?' " (I went forward)

After I went forward she spoke even more things to me. It was then that I knew that God was alive. He wasn't just sitting in Heaven, but He spoke to me. At this moment I was hooked. It was the very fact that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit had a one on one conversation with me. This superseded past all the pain in my body, mind and soul and the joy of all of it began the healing process.

I began talking to the Father as if He knew my every thought (as He did), but I had not been aware of this until now.

Your healing can only come from Jesus. But, you have to want things to change. If things have not been working for you thus far, I know my Jesus has a word for you and that He loves you. Please make the change for He is new every morning and He never gets old.

Exodus 15:26 I am the Lord that healeth thee...

Psalms 103:3 Who healeth all thy diseases...

Psalms 147:3 He healeth the broken heart...
